Molecure Pharmacy, established in 2017, is one of the hottest spots in Taichung that you should visit during your trip. The name of the pharmacy“Molecure”comes from the word “Molecule” and “Cure” which means extracting molecules from nature in order to synthesise them into drugs that heal. Liu Yanbo, the founder of Molecure Pharmacy, wants to get rid of the stereotype of traditional pharmacies by connecting health and lifestyle. Therefore, he decided to build a pharmacy with a breathtaking atmosphere. History 歷史

Chun Shui Tang is originally a teahouse based in Taichung City. They specialize in bubble tea, but they also serve other Taiwanese food and snacks which are very delicious. This restaurant was founded by Han Chieh Liu. She was fascinated by the Chinese Tea Culture. It is a tea culture that was established during the Qing Dynasty. Since then, tea has become a daily beverage. Then, when she went to Japan, she saw that people were serving cold coffee. So she had this idea, “Why don’t we serve cold tea? because in summer, hot tea doesn’t sell well.”

In 1987, Hsiuh Wei Lin, Chun Shui Tang’s product development manager was sitting in a meeting and she brought her typical Taiwanese dessert called fen yuan, which is sweet tapioca balls. Then she poured the tapioca balls into her Assam iced tea just for fun. Unexpectedly, it was the best combination ever. Not long after that, they developed it into bubble tea and now it has become the most popular beverage.
